Terms of service

These terms cover every website we build and every Hosting or Care plan we run. By paying for a build, you agree to them. 24 Hour Web is an Ontario general partnership. "We" and "us" means 24 Hour Web. "You" means the business that orders the site.
What you get
A five-page website: Home, Services, About, Our Work and Contact. We write the text, fit one of our layouts to your brand, set up a contact form, connect your domain with SSL and test it on phones before launch. You get one round of changes, and for 30 days after launch we fix anything broken or wrong at no charge.
Extra pages, SEO Foundation, a blog and online booking setup are add-ons. Online stores, customer logins and custom features are quoted separately and are not covered by the $1,299 price.
The 24 hours
Your 24 hours start once we have your payment, your completed intake form and all your files, like your photos and logo. The clock stops when we send you the link to review your site and starts again once we have your changes or your approval. It ends when your site launches. We build Monday to Thursday, so anything that arrives Friday to Sunday starts on Monday.
If we take longer than 24 hours, your first year of Hosting is free.
Paying
The build and any add-ons are paid in full, in Canadian dollars, when you order. Payments are handled by Stripe. We keep your card on file with Stripe so your Hosting or Care plan can be billed from the day your site launches.
Hosting and Care
Every site needs Hosting to stay online. Hosting is $19 a month or $190 a year. Care is $99 a month or $990 a year and includes Hosting. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
You can cancel with 30 days' notice by email. Your plan stops at the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part of a month or part of a year.
Your content
You own your words, photos, logo and domain. When you send us files, you confirm they're yours or that you have permission to use them, and you let us use them to build and run your site. If you leave, your site goes with you: domain, words, photos, design and code.
Don't ask us to publish anything illegal, misleading or that belongs to someone else. We can refuse or remove content like that.
Our work
The design and code of your finished site are yours. We may show it as a sample of our work.
Things we can't control
We do our best to keep your site online, but we can't promise it will never go down. Outages at our hosting provider, your domain registrar or your email provider are outside our control. We're not responsible for lost business or lost profits.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects a plan you're already paying for, we'll email you first.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
