Privacy policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
This policy covers the information we collect through our website and our forms, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's privacy law for businesses (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- From the start form: your name, email, phone number, business name and details, the address or areas you serve, your current website and domain, and the order you build. Once you give us your name, email and business name, we receive your answers even if you don’t finish, so we can help you complete your order. If you stop before paying or asking for a quote, we send you one reminder email about a day later.
- From the intake form: your answers about your business, customers, services and team, the contact details you want on your site, and the logo and photos you upload.
- When you pay: Stripe collects your card details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email and a record of the payment.
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit our site, which pages they look at and how they found us. It recognizes a browser, not a person by name. We also use the Meta Pixel to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. It tells Meta which pages you visit, when you start an order, ask for a quote, start a payment or pay, and the order total. Meta may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account you’re signed in to, and use it to show you our ads. When you pay, we also send Google Analytics an order reference, the order total in CAD, and the names and prices of what you ordered, so we can see whether people who found us through search, ads or links go on to buy. We don’t send your name, email, phone number or form answers to Google or Meta, and neither runs on the intake form.
How we use it
- To build your website and run your Hosting or Care plan
- To contact you about your order, your build and your plan
- To send you one reminder if you start an order or a payment and don’t finish
- To bill your plan through Stripe
- To answer your questions
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anyone else's marketing.
Who we share it with
The services we need to run 24 Hour Web:
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend delivers the emails our forms send. It also keeps a list of the addresses we’ve sent a reminder to or that have unsubscribed.
- Vercel hosts our website and the forms.
- Dropbox stores your order details, your intake answers, and the logo and photos you upload.
- Google runs our email (Gmail), where your order and intake answers arrive. It also measures visits to our website through Google Analytics.
- Meta runs Facebook and Instagram. If you accept cookies, the Meta Pixel tells it about your visit so we can measure our ads.
Each of them handles your information under its own privacy policy. Some of them store data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Anything you ask us to put on your website, such as your phone number, address, team names or photos, becomes public when your site launches.
Your browser
Our forms save your answers in your browser as you type, so you can come back and finish later. Clearing your browser's data removes them. Stripe sets its own cookies on the payment screen to keep payments secure. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set cookies only if you accept them in the banner at the bottom of the page. Google Analytics uses them to tell one visit from the next, and Meta uses them to measure our ads. You can change your choice at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we build your site and for as long as you have a plan with us. After that, we keep billing records for as long as tax law requires and delete the rest. If you start an order and don’t finish, we delete your answers within 6 months. If you unsubscribed from our reminder emails, we keep your email address so we don’t email you again.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it or have it deleted. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days. If we have to keep something, such as tax records, we'll tell you why. Every reminder email has an unsubscribe link. Using it stops reminders, not the emails about an order you’ve placed.
